Propane Adapter Availability to Attach an Additional Type 1 Connector to Campers Propane System

Question:

I need to go from a type 1 propane connector to a quick connect on a camper. Does that type of adapter exist? Im trying to eliminate having a separate propane tank. Thanks

I have other solution options for you, but we do not have the style of adapter you are looking for and I am not sure it even exists. Your best option would either be a new hose or a propane Tee fitting.

The Quick Disconnect Propane Hose # 37207-31135 would connect to your quick connect on your camper and then the other end has a 1/4" Male NPT fitting. I am just speculating that is the opposite end of the hose you have. If you'd like to send in a picture or let me know what type of end you need, I would be happy to assist. The other thing to consider when using the quick connect is that it is located after the regulator, if the appliance you are trying to use has its own regulator then it would be double regulated and you would not get enough gas pressure to run the appliance.

If this is the case, then you would want to consider using a Tee fitting which would allow you to use the same hose you have now and come off of your campers propane tank before the regulator. The MB Sturgis Sturgi-Flow T-Fitting for Small Appliance # 103606 can be installed before the regulator and the Disposable Propane Bottle Adapter Fitting # 37207-30205 can be used to adapt your type one hose to the disposable port to hook up to the tee.

If you wanted to send me pictures of your current propane set-up, hoses and adapters, I would be happy to take a look. But given the information currently provided this is the most likely way to make this work.
