How Do I Install A Hopkins Brake Controller In My 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

I would like some advice/help/diagrams or videos on how to install this controller on my 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 1500.

Depending on if your 2010 Chevrolet has the factory tow package or not there is a few things you will need. If you do not have a factory tow package both Tekonsha controller # 39510 and Tekonsha wiring adaptor # 20127 will work for you. If your vehicle has a round plug with a cap instead of a bundle of wires above the spare tire you would need the 7 way plug # 30955 instead.
If you do have the factory tow package all you will need is the controller # 39510 and adaptor # 20127. Below are a few links that will make the installation easier for you. The video will be of a different vehicle but it has a similar installation process.
