Replacement Brake Actuating Coupler for Ranger Boat Trailer
Question:
I have a 2009 Z520 Ranger Boat, and I need an actuator which Ranger no longer carries any more. The Ranger guy said the part number is Dexter 48970. Just to clarify the problem, when I lower the tongue of the trailer on the 2 ball the latch does not lock closed. Everything else works fine. Do you carry that part?

Unfortunately, we don't carry a Dexter 48970, nor could I find anything about that part.
Assuming your boat and trailer have a combined weight of less than 7000 lbs and has disc brakes and a 3 inch wide tongue, the Titan # T47457207K surge brake actuator you'd looked at would work well for you. The coupler is compatible with 1-7/8, 2 inch or 50mm trailer balls.
