Trouble Shooting Hot And Cold Water Problems In Tankless Water Heater.

The hot water heater gets hot for a few minutes then gets cold for a few seconds then hot again.

Thanks for reaching out, I have a solution for you.

In regard to the Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater - Gas - Automatic Pilot - 41,800 Btu - Black # LSB44FR.
First thing I recommend is to check all the exhaust and intake locations to make sure nothing is blocked or damaged. It is not uncommon this time of the year for animals to try and make homes in the the outside compartments of RVs.

Next check if it could be a low water pressure issue. If the water pressure gets to low the flow sensor will turn the flame off and cause the water to not be heated. Then a few seconds later wen pressure comes back up it will kick on and start to heat the water again.

Also check to make sure your propane lines are good and valves are opened with full tanks. For the best results though I highly recommend having a professional come check it out. Anytime you are dealing with propane and electrical components it is always a safe practice to have a trained person look at it.
