Will Lippert Hitch-It Bike Rack Offer Better Turning Clearance than Bike Rack and Dual Hitch Adapter

I have a 2018 Ford Escape and a Curt D210 double hitch adapter, My bike rack is a Swagman XC. My trailer is a straight tongue, Livinfoot Lite Quicksilver 5.0. I dont feel like I have adequate clearance to make sharp turns, with my bikes in the rack. Would using the Hitch-It, mounted as close to the front of the trailer as possible, improve my turning clearance?

Yes, the Lippert Hitch-It bike rack part # LC731138 that you referenced would offer better turning clearance than the Swagman XC # S64650 mounted in the dual hitch adapter part # D210 that you also mentioned.
