How Can I Use the Bulldog Winch # BD54FR with a 110v Outlet?

Question:

Is there a wiring conversion that you can use 110 electric volt outlet to power this winch vs the 12 volt battery setup that it comes with ?

While all of our available winches run off 12v or 120v power sources, the best route to power your winch is by using a converter. We unfortunately do not have a simple wiring setup that can achieve this conversion.

With that being said, if you are set on the Bulldog Utility Winch # BD54FR, the best option is to use the Progressive Dynamics Inteli-Power RV Converter and Battery Charger - 12V - 60 Amps # PD9160A. With the Inteli-Power, you can plug in this converter to a 110v AC outlet in order to power a 12v DC accessory like the # BD54FR.

I went ahead and attached a demonstration video that walks you through the specs of the # PD9160A.
