Recommended Bike Rack For E-Bikes with RoadTrek Zion SRT RV With Double Rear Doors
Question:
Looking for a bike rack setup for 2021 Zion SRT built on RAM Pro master 3500. Has 2” Hitch with tow hitch rating 2,000 lbs and tongue weight 300 lbs. our eBikes have 3” and 4” tires and weigh 65lbs each. We would like to use swing arm but I don’t think the 300lb hitch would support it. Looking for options with our class b and eBikes. Thank You!

For a great bike rack, I recommend the Swagman E-Spec Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes - 2" # S94FR. The E-Spec not only comes with a massive 70-pound per-bike weight capacity; it also includes keyed-alike locks and a locking hitch pin to deter theft of your bikes and the rack itself. It also comes with a long shank that measures 10-1/2 inches from the center of the hitch pinhole to the closest wheel cradle. As far as construction, the E-Spec is built to withstand the extra force/torque when mounted on your RoadTrek Zion SRT RV.
You will need the fat bike adapter # S64679 for your bike with 4-inch wide tires. Also, if you have step-thru or women's bike frames, you need to purchase a Swagman Deluxe Bike Frame Adapter Bar # 64005 to attach to your bikes' frames to the ratcheting hooks of the E-Spec.
Unfortunately, we do not have any bike racks that provide you with a minimum of 65 pounds of weight capacity and allow you to use a swinging adapter like the Kuat Pivot 2 # PVP20B while still weighing in under 300 pounds of your hitch's maximum tongue weight capacity. Even if you did have enough tongue weight, we do not carry a swinging adapter that is approved for motorhome use.
