RV Water Pump and Accumulator for a Quieter Water System

Question:

We have a Sureflo 2088-403-144, 2.8 GPM Pump, 2 sinks and a shower. Pump is now very loud and pipes banging. Viewing your videos, the Hydromax seems to be the quietest. For a premium installation, would an accumulator be recommended to reduce the noise and smooth water flow, and extend the life of the pump? Would the pump silencer kit help also? Though we dont have a lot of room under this seat. We have trusted ETRAILER on all of the projects weve completed. Weve not been disappointed! Any thoughts or other recommendations would be very appreciated!

Thanks for the picture! If you have the space I would absolutely recommend going with an accumulator tank to take the pressure and stress off of your pump. The Seaflo Accumulator Tank for Marine and RV Water Pumps - 0.75 Liter item # SE38FR would be a great addition to your set up it will trap and absorb water and air in the tank which lessens the noise. This accumulator will work well with the HydroMax RV Fresh Water Pump - 12 Volt - 3 Gallons Per Minute - 55 psi item # P25201 you referenced.

The Valterra RV Water Pump Silencing Kit - (2) 36" Long Hoses - 1/2" Diameter item # P23512PB is going to be doing a similar function as the accumulator tank but not as well so it won't be necessary to add both to your set up.
