How Can I Carry My 1up Hitch Bike Rack While Towing My 2017 Lance 1895 Trailer
Question:
Hi: I have a 2017 Lance 1895 trailer and need to get a rack system to carry 2 bikes with my One Up 2 tray rack. TV is a 2015 Chevy Tahoe LTS and I am concerned that the rack will have the needed turn clearance. I want to avoid buying another bike rack just for the RV. Any ideas? Do you take returns of the system does not fit? Thanks Best,

My recommendation is to use a hitch adapter. You could use something like the Gen-Y Adjustable 2-Ball Mount w/ Stacked Receivers - 2" Hitch - 10" Drop/Rise - 10K, part # 325-GH-315, to carry your 1up rack. This rack should not cause any issues with your trailer's turn radius.
The Stromberg Carlson Bike Bunk Trailer-Mounted Bike Rack Carrier for A-Frame Trailers - 2"-100 lbs, part # CC-275, you attached to your question will also work. It is not as robust of an option. This solution will also sit higher than the previous option. It might cause turning issues if you are carrying items in the truck bed.
You can possibly carry your 1Up hitch bike rack on the rear of your 2017 Lance 1895 trailer. If your trailer has a 2" trailer hitch, the maximum tongue weight of your trailer's hitch has to be greater than the weight of your 1up hitch bike rack and the bikes you will be carrying. This will also depend on whether your 1up hitch bike rack is rated to be carried on a travel trailer. If you have the Heavy Duty or Super Heavy Duty bike rack, you can carry it on the rear of your travel trailer in the two bike configuration.
