What Surge Brake Actuator Is Recommended For My 3,500 Lbs Jayco 1206 Camper

I have a 2006 jayco 1206 camper with 2 inch ball, the surge brake master cylinder is broke. I need a replacement coupling what would you suggest it bolts on weight of trailer is 3500lbs

My recommendation is the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator - Drum - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs, part # DM72VR. It is rated for 7,000 lbs and it has Demco's EZ-Latch Coupler. This actuator does not have a reverse lockout, so your trailer would need free-backing brakes. This is so you do not activate your trailer's brakes while driving in reverse.

If you need an actuator with a reverse lockout, my recommendation is the Demco Hydraulic Brake Actuator w/ Electric Lockout - Disc - Zinc - 2" Ball - 7,000 lbs, part # DM62VR. This is the same brake actuator as the previous model, except it has the electric lockout.
