Adapter to Connect 7-Way to Jeep With 4-Way
Question:
Hi, I purchased a new-to-me 2011 Jeep Wrangler with tow package. It has the 4 pin and my 900 lb. tear trailer is 7 blade. I want to keep it super simple and dont need trailer brakes, just lights and turn signals. Would this be my best option? Thank you!

Yep, since you just want to connect your trailer's 7-way and don't want brakes, just the lights, all you need to do is use the adapter you mentioned:
- Adapter 4 Pole to 7 Pole and 4 Pole w/ Test Lamps # C57674
You will just plug your Jeep's 4-way into the # C57674 and you can tie off the remaining wires as they won't be used since you only want the lighting functions. This comes with a mounting bracket as well so you won't need to purchase anything else.
