What to Do if My Trailer Vent Lid is Flapping When Driving Down the Road
Question:
14” max air will not stay closed. Flaps while moving down road. Do I need new unit or repair parts? 2016 Forest River Sunseeker on MB 3500 chassis. Thank you.

It really depends on what you mean when you say flapping. If it is more of a rattle then a cover like the Fan-Tastic Vent Ultra Breeze Trailer Roof Vent Cover # DMC38FR could be the solution that you need. The # DMC38FR cover would protect your vent from wind damage and also allow you to leave the your vent open while traveling if you choose to.
If the flapping is more of the entire lid opening all the way open then it may be something that could potentially be fixed with a part. If you could provide me with the model number of your vent I would be happy to look further into this for you.
