Does the roadmaster braking system work off of a vacuum or an electric motor

The Roadmaster Even Brake, part # RM-9400 actuates the brakes using a high speed air compressor, not an electric motor, which operates more quickly than an electrical motor. The unit is self-contained and other than a power connection, the transmitter connection to the brake lamp switch and the breakaway switch, there are no other connections to the vehicle. It doesn't need to tap into vacuum lines.
