Will The Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter Mount Inside a 7-Way Trailer Wiring Junction Box

Hi, Id like to know if the Curt C56196 junction will fit inside junction box 38656 and still have room for the wiring and connectors. Thanks

As the Curt 2 to 3 Wire Tail Light Converter # C56196 will produce some heat I would not recommend mounting it in a small weatherproof box like the Trailer Wiring Junction Box # 38656. That said the junction box is not tall enough to clear the height of the Curt Converter.

You will be able to mount the Curt Converter on the lid of the Junction box or just outside the junction box while still being able to terminate all your wiring inside the box to keep it protected from the elements.
