Although a plug and play 7-way option isn't available for models of the 2020 Ford Transit 250 that aren't equipped with the tow package, you can still wire your vehicle with a 4-pole and a 7-way.
You'll begin by installing a 4-pole harness, using part # C56327 which plugs inline between the vehicle taillight wiring harnesses and the taillight assemblies. You'll need to run a 12-v power feed to the battery to power the harness. The install procedure is shown in the linked video.
For trailers with electric brakes, you'll need to install a brake controller to actuate them. The Tekonsha # 90195 is a proportional brake controller that works very well. To install the controller, you'll need our # ETBC7 brake controller install kit. The kit includes all the wire, hardware, and circuit breakers needed to complete the installation, including the 4 pole to 7-way adapter that will convert the 4-pole provide by the # 118643 to a 7-way.
I've linked to a video that will walk you through the installation, step by step as well as showing how the controller works.
