Will K-Source Custom Tow Mirrors Heat Work With 2016 Silverado 1500 With Rear Window Defrost
Question:
I have a 2016 Silverado 1500. I have read that the rear window defrost switch also controls the heat function on the mirrors. I have the rear window defrost function on my truck. So will it the work on these mirrors? I have snap on type tow mirrors for now.

The power remote capability and heated glass on the K-Source Custom Extendable Towing Mirrors - Electric/Heat # KS62147-48G will only work if your vehicle already has those functions. Since it sounds like you do not currently have heated mirrors, the heat function will not work even though you have a rear window defroster. You can still install and use the power function of the mirrors if that is something your current mirrors have.
