Hitch Mount Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2011 Trek 7300 with a Low Step-Through Bar
Question:
Hello I have a 2011 trek 7300. It has the low step through bar. Which rack would you recommend ? I had a Thule tire rack and used a saris bar thingy. I almost lost my bike a few times because the bike wiggled around and pushed on the release button. I tried it a few different ways and even had the bike store kid look at it. I guess you dont need all that info. Thanks,

A good option is using a wheel mount attachment platform bike rack such as the Thule T2 Pro XTR # TH83JV for 2 bikes or the # TH69TX which can be setup to carry 2 or 4 bikes. With the T2 Pro XTR rack, the bike is held by the front and rear wheel, rather than the rear wheel and the frame like the Pro Series rack. This rack also has an integrated locking system for when your bike is unattended.
I have also attached a brief review video of these racks for you.
If you need a hitch, let me know what make/model vehicle you have and I can recommend the correct hitch.
