Demco Hijacker Autoslider and UnderBed System for a 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty

Question:

I have a 2022 Ford F350 Super Duty that has no fifth wheel prep in it. I am interested in the Demco # DM8550022, # DM8551009 package for my truck and was wondering if it would be compatible with my truck since it fits a 2021 F350. Does the bed of the truck have to be lifted off to install the underbed rails?

The Underbed Rail and Installation Kit for Demco Hijacker UMS 5th Wheel and Gooseneck Trailer Hitches item # DM8551009 does fit your 2022 Ford F-350 Super Duty. These are the under bed rails you will need for the Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Single Jaw - Underbed - 18,000 lbs item # DM8550022 to work in your F-350 as well. This hitch slides automatically as you drive to give you 14" of additional clearance for tight turns. You will not have to get out of your truck to adjust the slider with this 5th wheel hitch. A wraparound jaw provides a smooth ride and the locking bar offers additional security.

To make hooking up your 5th wheel easier I recommend adding the Bargman 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness for Aluminum Truck Bed - 7 Way RV - 9' Long item # 50-97-410-010. This harness provides you with an in bed 7-way connector for easy access. It also allows you to keep the connector on your bumper.

No, the bed does not have to be completely lifted. I have linked the instructions to the bottom of this page and also copied this section. You will be lifting the bed but only one side of it to slide the rails underneath it.

From Step 3 in the instructions:
Carefully raise truck bed approximately 2” off of frame on passenger side. One at a time, slide rail from passenger side
to drivers side. See picture for approximate location. This is only temporary, side frame brackets and hitch assembly
will locate rails to proper location. Lower box down but don’t put box bolts in yet. NOTE: When lowering box, make
sure plastic alignment pin enters its alignment hole located on front passenger side frame mount by front box bolt.
