2018 Honda Pilot Brake Controller Connection for Factory Tow Package
Question:
I have a Honda Pilot and had the Honda tow package upgraded and they gave me the plug for a controller to be hooked up but I can’t find the connection. Do I have to take apart the lower dash by the steering wheel to get to it?

Since your 2018 Honda Pilot has the tow package from the factory you will be able to use the Wiring Adapter # 3070-P to install a brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus IQ # TK90160.
According to the installation instructions for the wiring adapter the vehicle's brake controller harness will be located underneath the dash and left of the steering column. You may need to look behind or take off a piece of the lower dash to find the connection point depending on how well hidden your Honda dealership decided to place it.
