Will Reese Steadi-Flex #RP66560 or Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System Work Best On Stryker RV?

Question:

Hello. We recently bought a toy hauler that has a tongue weight of 1080 and a gross weight of 12800. Dry weight is 7780. I dont imagine we will max out the weight, but wondered if you thought the Reese 65560 would be enough hitch for our setup? We initially purchased the 65561 from you but it is out of stock. Also, do you think an equal-i-zer hitch is a better hitch/option? I see the EQ37140ET or the EQ37120ET. I dont want to have too much overkill but want to make sure we are safe and have the best sway control we can have. Any information you can provide would be appreciated!

The Reese Steadi-Flex Weight Distribution System # RP66560 will work for your 2019 Cruiser RV Stryker travel trailer toy hauler as long as you do not exceed 12,000lbs maximum trailer weight of the hitch. My concern is the 600-1,200lb tongue weight capacity. The 1080lbs of tongue weight is without the additional propane, batteries and any gear on the camper. You will likely exceed that with additional gear.

I do prefer the Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37140ET with your Stryker as you will not be able to exceed the 14,000lbs trailer capacity with the trailer GVWR at 12,800lbs. It also has the higher tongue weight capacity of 1,000-1,400lbs.

The Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution System # EQ37120ET will have the same 1,200lb maximum tongue weight and 12,000lb trailer weight which I fear will be easily surpassed with the Stryker.
