Can the 12 Volt Circuit from the ETBC7 Charge a Trailer Battery
Question:
Hello All, just want a little info on the 12v hot lead line. 2009 Honda Oddessy I am pulling a tent trailer. With the 12v hot lead, is this to charge the battery on the TT? If so should there be a Dual Battery Switch like this to pervent the Vehicle battery from being draind by the trailer fridge? I do already have a battery switch. Thanks for all the help.

The wire that runs to the vehicle battery on the Brake Controller Installation Kit # ETBC7 that you referenced is basically a hot 12 volt circuit that could easily be used to maintain the battery in your pop-up trailer.
If you wanted to use an isolation solenoid like the Tow Ready Solenoid # PK5231201 to prevent the trailer from draining the vehicle battery when the vehicle is not running you certainly could do that.
I attached installation instructions and an install video for the # ETBC7 for you to check out also.
