How to Move a B&W Companion Hitch for Ford Prep Package to a GMC with Prep Package

I just bought the BandW Companion slider for my 2020 F250 Ford with factory puck system, if I decided to buy a new 2022 GMC with their factory puck system what would need to be done to use the hitch I just bought?

If you are going to switch from a Ford with prep package to a GMC with prep package you can take the head from your current B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package # BWRVK3370 and change it to a new base unit for the GMC prep package.
If your new GMC has an 8' bed then you would use the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Chevy/GMC # BWRVB3710.
If your new GMC has the 6-3/4' bed then you would use the Replacement Slider Base for B&W Companion Slider 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch # BWRVB3775.
