On the wiring diagram, what is the minimum wire size recommended for the red break switch wire? Thank you!

You should be using a 16 gauge wire for red wire that connects to the brake switch when installing the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160. This is the same size wire of the Pigtail # 20127 that comes with the controller.
Both the red(brake switch) and white(ground) wires are 16 gauge, while the black(12V power) and Blue(trailer output) wires are 12 gauge.
