Can I Flat Tow a 2019 Ford F-150 With My Motorhome
Question:
I have a 2020 Thor Challenger 37TB, and am thinking of pulling my truck to be flat tow. My truck is a 2019 F150, 4x4, crew cab with 5.0l. Questions: 1. Do you recommend this setup, or should I find a smaller lighter vehicle to flat tow instead? 2. Which products/ set up do you recommend to flat tow on the said setup? i.e. base plate, tow bar, hitch, electrical, braking system, etc.? Thank you for your time

People flat tow pickups all the time and from what I could find it looks like your 2020 Thor Challenger 37TB can tow up to 8,000 lbs (you'll want to verify this in your owner's manual) which is more than enough for towing your 2019 Ford F-150.
As far as recommendations go, I really like the Roadmaster products because they put a lot of thought into their designs so the only thing non-Roadmaster that I'll have is the tow bar simply because it's hard to argue with the price-point of our tow bar when it comes to the quality as well:
Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - # RM-524431-5
etrailer XHD Non-Binding Tow Bar (with safety cables) - # e84ZR
Flexo-Coil Wiring Kit - # RM-15267
Charge Line Kit - # RM-156-25
Roadmaster InvisiBrake Supplemental Braking System - # RM-8700
Stop Light Switch Kit - # RM89ZR
Brake-Lite Relay Kit - # RM-88400
Lastly you may need a high-low adapter for the tow bar to sit level. According to Roadmaster their base plate kit sits about 14-1/4" above the ground. If you measure from the ground to the center of your RV receiver and the 14-1/4" height is within 3" of what you measure then you're good to go. Otherwise you'll want to choose an adapter from the linked selection so that the tow bar sits as close to level as you can get it.
