Trailer Hitch That Fits A 2019 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited
Question:
If you have a factory hitch already will this still bolt in the same way? Is this an upgrade over the factory hitch?

Expert Reply:
The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver you reference will bolt onto the frame of your vehicle and acts as a standard trailer hitch. This hitch has a maximum tongue weight of 350-lbs, and a maximum towing capacity of 3,500-lbs.
On the other hand, if you plan on using hitch mounted accessories, I recommend using # e98856 because the receiver tube sticks out over 3" farther which will give you more clearance.
If you already have a hitch installed, this will not be compatible because it does not bolt over an existing hitch, but it can replace the factory hitch you have.
You should always consult your vehicle's owner's manual for your maximum towing capacity and compare that figure to the trailer hitch and use the lowest number between the hitch and vehicle.
