Compatibility of Bed Liner and B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch with Slider in Ford Prep Pkg

Can you install this on top of a bed liner by just cutting liner around puck points?

The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w Slider for Ford Towing Prep Package, # BWRVK3370 will not properly seat into the OEM puck system if the rails are not in full contact with the body of the truck bed. Most that want to keep a bed liner in place cut for the full footprint of the hitch, not just the around the puck openings. If the bed liner does not sit higher than the puck mount surface it will work, but if the liner is taller then surface of the puck mount, it will need be removed or modified around the entire hitch.
