Routing Brake Controller Install Harness on 2020 Ford Explorer Under Dash

Mike L provided this answer in part: If your 2020 Explorer is equipped with the factory 7-way trailer connector, it will be have the brake controller connector under the dash. The connector is located under the dash, above and to the right of where the drivers right knee would be. The connector will be rectangular, and will be gray in color. If you use a Tekonsha brake controller like the Tekonsha Primus, part # TK90160, the # 3035-P wiring adapter is the correct harness. My follow up question is: Im assuming this will require the installer to remove the plastic piece that is in front of the drivers knees the connector should be obviously visible at this point. What are your recommendations for hiding the wiring harness, any photos would be beneficial. Thanks.

If you watch the attached install video for the brake controller install harness part # 3035-P at the 9:45 mark you can see how we took the interior apart on a similar Ford Explorer to route the wiring as well as access the connector you need to use.
