Could Hollywood Racks RV Rider Clear Handlebars Installed at Rear of RV with Flush Hitch Pin
Question:
I have looked at the HR1700 dimensions and determined my rear bike handlebar would likely hit the back of my fifth wheel. The hitch pin location on my Grand Design Reflection fifth wheel is exactly even with the rear of the fifth wheel. The length of my handlebar is 26inch overall, meaning I would need at least 14-15inch clearance from the back of the fifth wheel to the center of the rear bike mount. It also appears on the HR1700 dimension diagram that the rack has a slight taper towards the tow vehicle. Is there a hitch receiver extension that would work this this bike rack? I have two 55 pound e-bikes to carry. Please advise if you have any other suggestions.

So the closest wheel hoop of the Hollywood Racks Bike Rack HR1700 # HLY64FR that you referenced is 12 inches from the center of the hitch pin hole. So the wheel hoops are right at 6 inches wide which your tire would fit into the middle of and your handle bar centerline would line up with that. That means that three inches of your handle bar width would be on the inside of the wheel hoop and half of the overall length of your handle bars is 13 inches. That means you'd have 10 inches from the wheel hoop to the pin hole which means you'd have 2 inches of clearance for the handlebars.
