Wiring The Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System To The Running Lights
Question:
My alliance Valor 5th wheel rear camera location is pre-wired to the rv console camera. Does me no good while driving. How can I connect my FOSO5TASF with its connector to the running lights top left or right of RV? is there some sort of wire conversion kit or any ideas I am interested in. Tks

Expert Reply:
The wiring for the Furrion Vision S Wireless RV Backup Camera System w/ Night Vision # FOS05TASF can simply be spliced into the running light wiring. You can remove strip back the casing and twist the bare wires of the # FOS05TASF and the running lights together so the the system receives power when the running lights do.
You can use the wire strippers included in the Hopkins Deluxe Trailer Wiring Installation Kit # HM51020 and some electrical tape and wire nuts to seal the connection.
I've attached a video below that will explain how to strip wires as well as an installation video from another Furrion camera system that comes with the side marker lights to help walk you through the installation.
