Recommended 1,200 Pound Timberen Axle-Less System for Tandem Dump Trailer
Question:
I am looking into axle options for a dump trailer pulled behind an atv and utv. Trailer box is 48inch x 72. Frame is 2inch tube. 2 axles tandem. Likely will have one brake axle. 4x4 pattern to fit 25inch atv tires/rims. Ive looked at other stub axles specifically flexiride which i know etrailer does not carry. There price point is a little cheaper with a 1400lb capacitt. The Timbren 1200 lb system is $450. Plus hubs and brakes. Will this work? Thanks for your review.

The Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System like the # ASR1200S04 will fit any frame width since it is a universal application. The main thing to be concerned about is the tires you are using. You will need to make sure there is enough clearance to use the 25" ATV tires you have.
The # ASR1200S04 has a brake flange for brakes and 6" between the frame and the hub face. This would allow for tires up to about 8" wide if you leave 2" of clearance between the frame and the tire.
The only issue here will be the hub/hub and drum assembly since no 4 on 4 bolt pattern is available that fits. You would have to get different wheels and use something like the # AKHD-545-35-EZ-K with a 5 on 4-1/2 bolt pattern. Then for brakes you would need the Dexter # 23-26 and # 23-27.
I have attached some review videos for your reference.
