7 Pole Wiring Harness For A 2016 Ford F-150 Without Factory 4 Flat
Question:
I have a 2016 f150. It has a trailer hitch and 7 pole connector. But it wasnt factory and only wired for a 4 pole. I found that out when I bought a new connector. Is there a wire harness that ugh I b the back somewhere so I can use the full connector?

I believe I understand what you're asking. It sounds like your 2016 Ford F-150 has an aftermarket 4 pole flat installed and you want to be able to use a 7 way. If that's the case, you can use the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This kit will plug directly into your existing 4 pole and provides your vehicle with a 7 way.
If it turns out you actually do have a factory 4 pole, and you want to still add a 7 way, you'll want to use # 118283. This kit will plug directly into your factory harness and add a 7 way to your F-150.
I also recommend using some dielectric grease # 11755 to protect your electrical connections against corrosion and water damage.
