Does the Draw-Tite Hitch # 75751 fit under the Spare of a 2009 Ford Escape
Question:
I have a 2009 Ford Escape with the factory class 2 hitch. Will the 75751 fit underneath the original? There is a cut-out in the bumper for the original to exit and the pictures of 75751 look like its all below. However the factory unit has some wings for the safety chains that dip a little below the bottom edge of the bumper line. It does not use the frame area where the 75751 is attached per pix and installation video. I think the factory unit might be welded in but I think I have to the spare tire to see.
