Recommended Air Bag Kit That Will Fit With The Curt C60700 Gooseneck Hitch In A 2022 Ford F-250
Question:
I am going to be installing the Curt C60700 gooseneck hitch in the bed of my 2022 Ford F-250 King Ranch, but I also want to get a Firestone Red Label kit installed as well. My last F-250 squatted pretty good when I first started pulling this trailer and had to get one of these installed to fix it. Will these work together? I have heard that some of these air bags can't be used with gooseneck hitches and want to make sure everything fits properly. Thanks for your help.

If you need to get the Curt Custom Underbed OEM-Style Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # C60700 installed on your 2022 Ford F-250 King Ranch edition, you can still get a Firestone Red Label kit as well. The Firestone Ride-Rite Red Label Extreme Duty Air Helper Springs # F95FV has absolutely no issues working with an in-bed hitch and will be perfect for your set up. It will give you up to 7,500 pounds of load leveling support at 150 psi, so there will be no sag to worry about.
The only potential add on I recommend is the Firestone Air Command II # F2219 compressor system. This will let you inflate and deflate the air bags on the fly and each bag separately as well. This way if a load is ever uneven in your bed, you can fill one side more than the other to completely level it out. It is a very nice thing to have at the ready.
