For your 2021 Jeep Cherokee Latitude Plus you'll be able to use the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Class III - 2" # C13395. This hitch has a simple bolt-on installation, no welding required, with a complete hardware kit and installation instructions included. The gloss black powder coat finish over protective base coat offers a superior rust resistance for a long lifespan.
If you are planning on towing you will also need a wiring harness item # C56406 and a ball mount kit item # C45534.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed beneath and to the center of the vehicle. A mounting bracket like # 18144 with # 18140 is recommended to keep the connection secure.
