Will Installing A Base Plate On A 2022 GMC Sierra Denali Interfere With The Adaptive Ride Control
Question:
Are these base plates going to interfere with the adaptive ride control system on my 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Denali?

Expert Reply:
The sensors for the adaptive ride control system in your 2022 GMC Sierra 1500 Limited Denali are located in the wheel wells so they will not be affected when installing the Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM-523198-5.
To flat tow your Sierra you'll also need a tow bar, tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables. If you haven't already purchased these items then I have the following recommendations for you below:
Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights - RV Mount - 8K # RM-676. This tow bar features non-binding latches and a large hookup radius to make hooking and unhooking from your vehicle on any terrain or slope easy peasy. It comes with safety cables as well as an adapter cable, but the braking system I recommend will come with a special adapter cable so you will not need to use this one. It features integrated LED lights that illuminate with your RV tail lights to make it easy to hookup or disconnect in the dark.
Tow Bar Wiring Kit: The braking system I listed below comes with an adapter cable so all you'll need is the Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152 to use your vehicle's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV.
Braking System: Brake Buddy Stealth Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39530. This braking system offers fully proportional braking with a system that never has to be removed, replaced, or reset. The actuator installs out of sight and remains virtually invisible when your car isn't being towed. This controller also works as a trailer brake controller so that you can tow a trailer with your motorhome without needing to purchase a separate controller. This system includes the adapter cable needed to transfer your lighting signals as well as a charge line kit to keep your vehicle's battery charged while towing.
Safety Cables: Since the tow bar already comes with safety cables you won't need to purchase these separately.
