What Is Causing a Hot Blue Wire on My Tekonsha Voyager # 39510?

From the sound of your problem, the most common issue with getting power to the blue wire on the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 is due to a power source being applied to the red wire (which is only supposed to happed when the brake is applied). With this issue, I recommend making sure that the red wire is connected securely to the brake switch wire which only receives power when brakes are applied. I went ahead and attached a diagram to provide you with the overview of the wiring.
If this method doesn't work, then there is a possibility that the red or the blue wire is frayed. If this is the case, I recommend the 10 Gauge Primary Wire - Blue - per Foot # 10-1-1 to make those repairs. Usually, a frayed wire can be spotted if the outer jacket is broken and/or the wire is exposed.
If you need a tester in order to help determine where the fray is located, I recommend the circuit tester # PTW2993.
