With this ground clearance height, I recommend using a drop hitch like the Curt Ball Mount for 2" Hitches - 7" Rise, 8-1/4" Drop - 9-3/8" Long # C45338. With this adapter, you will be able to have a higher ground clearance if you use a small utility trailer.
