Is There A Tailgate Assist For 2019 Ford F150

Question:

Hello there!! Just wondering if this part will work on my 2019 f150 that has the tailgate pull out step. The tailgate weighs a ton and Im only 51foot and have to duck under it and then stand up to lift and close it. Thank you!

Unfortunately the manufacturer does not recommend the Hopkins EasyLift Truck Bed Tailgate Lift Assist # 74211 on Ford F-150's 2004 and newer. The only tailgate assist we have listed as a confirmed fit for your truck is the DeeZee Tailgate Assist Custom Tailgate-Lowering System # DZ43204 which is confirmed to fit with tailgates with or without the step. But this will only help with lowering your tailgate, not raising it like you were looking for.
