Do Bottom Hook of Yakima Fullback Use Anchor Mode to Install on 2018 Toyota RAV4
Question:
We are following the instructions for top hook anchor mode up to step D. In step D the graphic looks as though the anchor hook is just dangling and not attached to anything. Is that correct? We figured we needed the anchor for the top hooks based on the printed instructions, but havent found anything to suggest we need anchor mode for the bottom hooks. Is there a place on your website that references the need for anchors? The instructions provided with the product are very difficult, and the web page they reference goes to a page not found. Looking forward to hearing about this. Thank you.

I checked with Yakima and when installing the Yakima FullBack part # Y02633 on a 2018 Toyota RAV4 you do need to put the lower hooks in anchor mode like you suspected.
