B&W 5th Wheel Hitch Swap on a Vehicle Change
Question:
I presently have a GMC 3500 with hitch BWH-RVK3705 and I am purchasing a Ram 3500 and need BWH-RVK3600. Do I need to replace the whole hitch or can I get an adapter or a replacement base?? Thank you in advance.

You have the option to do both depending on your preference and whether or not you are interested in reselling your current item # BWRVK3705 fifth wheel hitch. The B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Hitch for Ram Towing Prep Package - Dual Jaw - 25,000 lbs item # BWRVK3600 is the entire base and head that is compatible with your 2020 Ram 3500 OEM puck system. We also offer the Replacement Base for B&W Companion OEM 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch for Ram item # BWRVB3600. This is just the base you would need if you wanted to transfer the head over from you current fifth wheel hitch. I recommend replacing the entire fifth wheel hitch and reselling your old one. B&W hitches are widely known for being the best in the business and hold onto their value.
