The Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX2409 is going to take the place of your front tow hooks on your 2015 Ram 1500 Laramie Longhorn. This provides a simple installation and clean look with very minimal trimming of the fascia, if any.

To flat tow your 2015 Ram 1500 you're going to also need a tow bar, tow bar wiring kit, braking system, and safety cables.

Tow Bar: Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar for Blue Ox Base Plates - RV Mount - 8K # RM-677. This tow bar features non-binding latches and a large hookup radius to make connecting/disconnecting the tow bar from your vehicle on any terrain easy peasy. It includes vinyl-coated safety cables with steel hooks with spring-loaded latches so you won't have to purchase them separately as well as a 7-wire to 6-wire adapter cable and 6-way socket for the towed car. The integrated LED lights illuminate with your RV tail lights to make it easy to hookup or disconnect in the dark.

Tow Bar Wiring Kit: Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-152. This diode kit allows you to use your vehicle's tail lights and wiring system while preventing feedback from your RV.

Braking System: Brake Buddy Select 3 Portable Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # HM39524. This system offers intense, emergency braking or steady, smooth braking in a single portable system. Easily switch between proportional or full braking from your motorhome using the remote. The included charge line kit will keep your vehicle's battery charged while you tow so you don't have to worry about dealing with a dead or low battery once you get to your destination.

Safety Cables: The recommended tow bar above includes safety cables so you won't have to purchase any.

You may also need a high/low adapter to keep your tow bar level while you tow your vehicle. This will require some measuring so I've attached our help guide article to walk you through the process of determining the correct rise/drop needed.
