What 7-Way Harness and Brake Controller Do You Recommend for My 2022 Honda Odyssey?
Question:
what parts do I need to install a 7-way on my 2022 Honda Odyssey?

In order to install a 7-way harness on your 2022 Honda Odyssey, you need to have a 4-way harness installed first (if it isn't installed already). If you need a 4-way, I recommend the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with Upgraded Circuit Protected ModuLite HD Module - 4-Way Flat # 118781. The T-One includes a ModuLite power converter to ensure that your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer.
Once the 4-way is installed, you are clear to install the 7-way. For that part, you will need the Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller # ETBC7. This harness will give you the ability to install a trailer brake controller to your vehicle.
To add a brake controller, I recommend the Tekonsha Voyager # 39510 or the Curt Echo # C51180. Both of these controllers are proportional controllers which means that the controller activates the trailer brakes in proportion to your vehicle's braking action. The Voyager is more of a traditional-style controller than requires mounting into the dashboard of your vehicle near the steering wheel. On the other hand, the Curt Echo allows you to control the settings of your controller with the ease of your Smart device.
