There are a few differences between the B&W Ball and Safety Chain Kit # BWGNXA2061 and the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Kit # C38CR for your 2022 GMC Sierra 3500 (8-foot bed with OEM prep). Apart from the 38k pound capacity of the Curt and the 30k pound weight capacity of the B&W, the B&W ball has an integrated handle that gives you a better grip when installing/removing the ball. Also, the Curt kit comes with hooks that attach to the ends of the safety chains while the B&W kit require you to buy compatible hooks like the Clevis Hook # C81970.
With these differences taken into account, I recommend the Curt kit over the B&W kit because of the higher weight capacity and the fact that you will not have to buy an additional clevis hook for your use.
