In order to flat-tow your your 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500, you will need a base plate, a tow bar, a tow braking system, and vehicle tow wiring. Here's a setup of the following parts you need:
- Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # RM98VR
- Roadmaster Nighthawk All Terrain, Non-Binding Tow Bar w/ LED Lights # RM-676 (comes with safety cables)
- Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System - Proportional # SM99251
- Roadmaster Universal Hy-Power Diode Wiring Kit # RM-154
The great thing about the Roadmaster Direct-Connect base plate is that is 100% made in the U.S.A. and comes with all hardware required for installation. As far as the Nighthawk tow bar, it comes with safety cables, tow bar wiring, and LED lights for easy visibility if you are attaching your Silverado 2500 in dark conditions. In addition, you will also receive the proportional action of the SBS Stay-IN-Play which applies the trucks's brakes at the same level that you apply the brakes to your RV. With the diode kit, this will allow you to connect your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to your Silverado's lighting system.
This setup will give you everything you need in order to flat-tow your 2022 Chevy Silverado. i went ahead and linked videos that walk you through the installation processes.
