The custom fit T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package - 7-Way Trailer Connector # 118286 plugs into your vehicle's factory tow package wiring harness. The connection point for the 7-way harness is located behind the rear bumper. The converter plugs into the factory wiring harness in your rear cargo area, on the driver's side. You will have to remove the floor covers, cargo trays, and some interior paneling to access this harness. Once you've plugged in the connector, insert the included fuses into your fuse panel as indicated in the instructions.
Once installation is complete, the 7-way connector will be stowed beneath your vehicle, near the trailer hitch. A mounting bracket (sold separately) is recommended to keep the connector secure. You can use # PK12711U or # C57202 if you would prefer a no-drill application.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease ( # 11755) on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 7-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
I've included installation videos for each of these products to help walk you through the steps of installing this wiring harness on your 2022 Honda Pilot.
