Im trying to attach my Yakima round bar racks onto my new 2021 Tacomas factory rack crossbars. While the Yakima timberline system will work on the rails when the crossbars are retracted

For your 2021 Toyota Tacoma you will want to use the TimberLine Towers for Yakima Crossbars # Y33TR with the RoundBar SL Adapter for Yakima BaseLine, SkyLine, TimberLine, and RidgeLine Towers # Y03536 for your Round 58" CrossBars for Yakima Roof Rack System # Y00409, the overall weight capacity isn't affected, and still remains at 165lbs for the bars.
