What is the Difference Between the Under-Bed Rail Kit # RP87FR and # RP39FR on My 2021 Ford F-350 SD
Question:
what is the difference between the RP87FR and the RP39FR on a 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty?

Expert Reply:
The two parts you mentioned (# RP87FR and # RP39FR) that fit your 2021 Ford F-350 Super Duty will both allow the ability to pull a gooseneck trailer with a gooseneck ball or use a 5th wheel hitch in the puck system.
The only difference between them is the overall weight capacity depending on the brackets you use. The weight capacity of the # RP87FR is 32,000 pounds with OEM brackets or the Maximum Capacity Brackets # RP88FR. If you use the Inner Frame Brackets # RP27FR, you will have a weight capacity of 20,000 pounds.
The weight capacity of the # RP39FR is 35,000 pounds with OEM brackets or the Maximum Capacity Brackets # RP88FR. If you use the Inner Frame Brackets # RP27FR, you will have a weight capacity of 27,500 pounds.
I went ahead and linked video reviews of both sets of brackets as well as an installation video for both rail kits.
