What would Functions of Black and White Trailer Wiring Colors be
Question:
when i removed my trailer light to replace them there is just 2 wires ...one black one white what are they. not yellow or green..as most are

Typically white is ground and black is power based on standard trailer function/colors. With that said not all lights and trailer wiring follows the standard colors. You can use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test the wires when the various taillight functions are applied though to verify for certain.

On this trailer the white wire is turn signal and flasher..black running lights. Always best to check with tester....never know what wires are... not always follow the colors we are use to
