Recommended 4 Flat Trailer Wiring Harness For A 2022 Toyota Highlander With Factory Tow Package

Question:

Hi. I just got a 2022 Toyota Highlander that I am going to be pulling a jet ski trailer with. I have the hitch and all that, but discovered there was no wiring included on the vehicle. The trailer is pretty small and only has a 4 plug wiring on it. I checked with Toyota and they wanted more money than I preferred to pay, but did say I have a towing package after I gave them my VIN number, so hopefully that helps. Would very very much not want to have to cut into the wiring since this is brand new.

Knowing that your 2022 Highlander has the factory tow package is actually a huge help. This will mean your Highlander is pre-wired for a 4 Flat harness and will make everything a lot easier.

With this being plug and play, it will take absolutely no time to install and get you up and running. The only potential add on will be the Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat # 18144. The # TK74FR does have a looped cover that can be attached to the safety chain loops on your hitch, but if you wanted a cleaner look and don't mind drilling to get this installed, I do recommend it.
