Tips To Fix A Demco Hijacker That Is Too Difficult To Move After Unhitching
Question:
when we unhitch if not directly straight it will not center as it will stay at that angle. I have to take a pry bar to move it to center, you cannot move it with your hand. Is it suppose to be this tight?

To get your Demco Hijacker Autoslide 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider # DM8550034 to be easier to move easier you can lock the head release handle open so it's extended out and use that as leverage. You can also remove the head and loosen the pivot bolt. The head should become easier to move over time and the more times you use it.
